Fuerza 52

The Doula

About Ana

Ana is the founder of Fuerza52 and a doula for birth, death, and everything in between.

A Mexican immigrant, bilingual speaker, and mother, she brings more than a decade of experience in mental health, crisis support, care coordination, and advocacy, particularly alongside marginalized communities. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Nevada State University, with training in suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and anti-bias. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Emergency and Crisis Management at UNLV, expanding her work in crisis, resilience, loss, and community care.

Ana’s approach to doula care is rooted in the belief that we are more than what is happening to our bodies. Birth, dying, grief, and major life transitions can affect us physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Her own experiences with postpartum life and mental health have shaped her commitment to helping families prepare for the emotional and mental realities of becoming a parent. She believes preparation includes honest conversations, meaningful support systems, and space to acknowledge that these transitions can be both beautiful and difficult.

As a mother to a son on the autism spectrum, Ana understands the importance of listening, honoring individual needs, and letting go of the idea that there is one right way to move through life. Through Fuerza52, she brings together her professional and lived experiences to offer care rooted in autonomy, culture, personal choice, and compassion. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: we should overwhelm people with love and support. To be present for people in the moments when they need it most, without judgment and without asking them to be anything other than human. Because there is no perfect way through birth, death, or everything in between. There is the human way; imperfect, messy, deeply personal, and real.
